Our newest obsession is the ancient Ayurvedic drink, golden milk, also known as turmeric latte or turmeric tea.
Turmeric has so many incredible benefits, and odds are that you are not getting enough of it. It is anti-inflammatory, contains bioactive compounds has antioxidant properties and a range of other benefits. Some even claim that it beats off cancer, but bottom line – it is very good for you.

This is our simple and delicious take on golden milk. We use it mostly in the morning, but since it is caffeine free, you can adjust some ingredients and enjoy it in the evening as well.


– 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
– 1 dash of ground nutmeg
– 1 teaspoon honey
– 1 tablespoon of your preferred milk (we use almond)

Step 1.
Mix all the spices in a tea cup.

Step 2.
Add honey and hot water (approximately 2.5 dl).

Step 3.
Mix it all up then add the milk, which gives it a creamy feel and the famous golden look.
The spices will fall to the bottom and form a muddy consistency, The hard-core finishes that as well – we don’t.
